Belladrum Festival is always our favourite weekend of the year because each year we go to Belladrum it delivers a diverse range of quality music from emerging new acts to crowd pleasing headliners.
Belladrum itself is as dramatic a festival setting as you get and it has thrived when other festivals have fallen by the wayside. Belladrum has developed an alluring charm over the years that has helped create it’s own identity and engage with new festival virgins and the loyal festival pro alike. We know people who have gone to Belladrum and not seen any acts what so ever and had the best weekend of their year. They are clearly needing some kind of medical intervention.
This year we were back again to co-ordinate the Rockhopper Sessions with Team goNORTH and capture some brilliant sessions from acts who were appearing on the goNORTH Seedlings stage and from the wider festival line up.

This always means we don’t get the chance to see as many acts on the various festival stages as we would normally however we did get to witness some truly fantastic and even occasional exclusive up close sessions from some of the finest emerging acts in Scotland right now. We even had some impromptu busking sessions from the likes of Olympic Swimmers and Willie Campbell & The Open Day Rotation. There was also the last minute “let me check with the label before we do this” session which was a great way to round off the weekend.
