First up is Honeyblood with their single Bud, which is released through FatCat Records. The duo have recently been away in USA USA USA recording their album, and if ‘Bud’ and previous single ‘Super Rat’ is anything to go by, then the album should be a cracker. No pressure.
If you wear headphones when listening to the mixtape – be careful with your volume levels going between Bud and this next song by Edinburgh band Hagana. It gets loud. Immediately. Brilliant. Fuzzy Punch, released just a couple of days ago is available free through Bandcamp. Hagana play Mad Hatters on Friday 29th November, alongside Birdhead. Might have to wander along to that.
The Moon Kids, The Van T’s and Have Mercy Las Vegas have all recently been announced to play King Tut’s New Year’s Revolution, which runs from the 3rd – 16th January. Hopefully Netsounds will be able to get down the road for one of them.
