Netsounds Unsigned is a weekly new music podcast based in the Highlands of Scotland that promotes the best unsigned, emerging and under the radar acts from the Highlands, right through Scotland, the UK and far beyond.

Netsounds Unsigned is a fully independent weekly podcast founded in 2008 and is presented by Jamie Macdonald and Murray Cameron.

Whilst primarily playing tracks sent by acts or discovered through trawling the world wide web, we’ve been lucky enough to have recorded a number of exclusive live sessions for the podcast.   We have also produced a number of special podcasts covering the emerging artists playing at a wide range of Scottish festivals.

We have also attracted an international following, featuring bands from Scotland, England, United States, Austrialia, Sweden, Russia, Philippines, Brazil, Japan and many other countries and our listener base is just as wide.

In addition to featuring emerging artists, we’ve been lucky enough to grab interviews with established musicians such as The Wombats*, The Guillemots, The View, Martha Wainwright, Stephen Fretwell and talk to celebrity former drug smuggler Howard Marks.

*The Norwegian version of Postman Pat which The Wombats recorded for us at Rockness 2007 is still circulating around the internet somewhere………….
